The Auditor General
The Auditor General is the head of the Office and is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the institution. Appointed under the Constitution of the Republic of Somaliland, the Auditor General is tasked with auditing all public accounts and submitting reports to Parliament. The Auditor General ensures that the Office operates independently, professionally, and in accordance with international auditing standards.
